Lucielle Turns 2!

Yesterday, our baby turned TWO! Turning two means the end of babyhood (thank you Lord for another baby in my tummy!) and the beginning of crazy toddlerness and the terribly terrific two's. Two is when stubborn independence rears it's head with phrases like, "Don't want to!" and "I do it myself! No help me!". But it also delightfully brings new vocabulary and ways of expressing oneself. In Lulu's case, an over abundance of super squishy hugs and wet kisses. Two means that the sisters fight like cats and dogs and then hug and kiss like they've been apart for weeks. It means lots of discipline and also ways to teach and correct. It brings tears of discouragement and utter joy (to the whole family haha). Two is one of my favorite ages!

We are delighted by our feisty and sweet girl. She is full of sugar and spice. I can't wait to see what this year brings as she becomes a big sister and a middle child. I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with a quiver full of little girls. Lulu is silly, sweet, stubborn, determined, playful, imaginative, snugly, and a sweet little mama to her dolls and animals. She is exactly what we needed for the Lord to draw us closer to Him: whether it be in faith through her life threatening accident just months old, or in the joyful mundane of daily life. We pray that the Lord would draw her near to Him and that she would be a light for Him, as her name means. We love you, lovie Lulu! Happy second birthday sweet girl!
