Lucielle turns THREE

Our little Lulu Bean has been three for a month now and good golly we love her! She has loved whales for a while... her beloved blankey has whales all over it. And recently, she has developed a love of sharks as well. She requested a whale and shark birthday party, so we had an under the sea themed birthday party for friends and family. She was in heaven! I decorated with green streamers as sea weed, clear balloons as bubbles, and I tried my hand at watermelon carving in the shape of a shark haha. It was actually really fun! We played pin the tail on the whale and made aquarium graham crackers with frosting, sprinkles and Swedish fish. We tossed stuffed whale bean bags into a basket and played ships across the ocean.

Oh sweet Lulu. You are so dearly loved! You have a contagious giggle, a bit of a wild side, and you are fiercely loyal. You are our peacemaker and you love unity. You are the perfect mix and sweet and spice. You look up to your big sister and are a little mama to your little sister- the perfect middle child. You are our brown baby- brown skin, eyes, and hair. You love purple, playing dress-up, and snuggling Foxie. You can hold your breath crazy long and LOVE jumping in recklessly off the edge of the pool. You climb fearlessly to the top of anything, yet you don't like slides haha. You pray sweetly and earnestly every night for the people you love and say you can't wait to fly to heaven someday so you can play with Jesus *cue Mama tears*. We love you so much, sweet beany! You are very very precious!

Vivienne turns 4!

Vivienne is FOUR! We celebrated her birthday according to her request: "A super hero birthday party and for all my friends to wear masks and capes!" It was adorable! I love making our girls feel incredibly special and overly loved for their birthdays. We plan their party together. We brainstorm ideas, decorate the house, and make treats together.  We had a fun morning of playing and chatting. The kids decorated super hero arms cuffs (gold spray painted Starbucks sleeves), colored coloring book pages, play bean bag toss, opened gifts, and ate a lot of cake! It was a very good morning. My little extroverts cried when it was over because they loved having so many friends over!

Jumping on the bed

As a third baby, Edie can sleep through a lot of noise, but even I was surprised to see her sleep through the big girls jumping and pillow fighting on the bed haha.Golly, I love them! Vivi and Lulu had the time of their lives with the pillow fight. They napped for over 3 hours after! Win win!

Christmas Day

This was our first Christmas in our new home. We loved it! It may not have been a white Christmas, but it was perfect! When the girls woke up, the first thing they did was run to see the gifts under the tree. Viv was jumping in excitement. After a quick little breakfast, we enjoyed watching Charlie Brown Christmas all snuggled up the fire and opened stockings. Then sweet Lulu took her morning nap while we made a yummy brunch. The girls loved have second breakfast haha. Our little hobbits :) After that, we opened gifts by the tree. The girls each got one gift. Every time we asked Vivi what she wanted for Christmas she would say, "A pink present." A few times in the past few months she said she wished she had a piggy bank, so she got a pink polka-dot piggy bank. It was a huge hit! She's going to be asking everyone we know for their spare change haha. She even carries it around the house and kisses it haha. We go Lulu a Fisher Price Classic record player because she loves to dance. The girls enjoyed a little dance party in front of the tree. Then the cousins came over and the fun really began. More gifts, cocoa with marshmallows, coloring, games, and a yummy meal. Grammie and Grampa got the kids all some footie pjs or bathrobe. Pretty cute! It was a super fun day! I can't think of a better way to spend the holiday than with family in your home. So fun!
Haha the reality of trying to get a photo of all the kids smiling!
3/4 goons happy isn't bad haha.
My girls think that Auntie Stacey is the coolest! This face is called "Auntie Stacey Awe" haha.

Just like every little girl in America, Viv got something "Frozen" for Christmas and freaked out haha.

 Snuggly Minnie Mouse bathrobes.
