I have always LOVED Christmas! But seeing it through your children's eyes makes it even better! Vivi has grown to LOVE Christmas too! She loves the snow, decorations, and music. It's been such a joy to share with her the reason that we celebrate. It has nothing to do with Santa or presents. It's fun to hear that her favorite Christmas songs are carols that sing of the Lord Jesus' birth: Away in the Manger, Angels We Have Heard on High, and Silent Night. We sang these songs before each nap and had CDs in the car. She loved watching Charlie Brown Christmas and other Christmas movies. She loved the Christmas treats and Christmas PJs. And of course, she loved the presents.
This was the first Christmas for our little lovie Lucielle. And the first Christmas that Vivienne understood the meaning of this holiday. Vivienne was our little Santa on Christmas morning. After breakfast and a little nap for two over-tired little babes, Viv passed gifts out to each person... and helped each person open their gift haha. She gasped in glee with each gift. It was adorable!
It was a joy and treat! Best. Day. Ever!
