Papi's Birthday & first Dairy Queen

Papi's birthday was really fun. Vivienne got to spend the night with Grandma while we met up with friends at the Drive-in movies. It was really fun! It was a perfect summer evening as we grilled out while we waited for the movies to start. The movies were decent: World War Z and Superman. One thing we learned, is that we are getting to old (and I'm getting too pregnant) to stay up watching movies in our car until 3:30am! Still, really fun though!
The next day we slept in as late as we wanted. No Viv to wake us! I made a yummy brunch and gave Hubs a 6 pack of hot sauces for his eggs. Then we hung out and relaxed per Brian's request until we drove up to Cambridge that afternoon to get Viv and have a BBQ with Brian's mom. For dessert, we took Viv on her first walk to Dairy Queen for a Dilly Bar. She loved it so much that she wouldn't even pause for a smile! She also wasn't a big fan of sharing with Papi. What a goof!
Viv also is becoming a much more confident walker! Praise the Lord! The past two days she has really taken off! She has always loved keys, but on Brian's birthday, she grabbed the keys and walked on her own all the way down the sidewalk to the car and tried to put the keys in the lock! So funny. It was one of the furthest distances she's walked. The next day she walked on her own all around church. Hurray! My aching preggo back may be saved! She's walking!
