Christmas Eve

Being that this was Vivienne's first Christmas, everything was so fun! We discovered that she LOVES Christmas trees and ornaments, and ripping wrapping paper is beyond fun!

We spend Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house an hour north. We got there earlier in the day so Vivienne could take a nap before all the cousins came and craziness began! So she had the living room floor to herself and she perfected crawling toward the tree and presents. She had started crawling a couple weeks prior, but we have wood floors... slippery wood floors. She loved the carpet. It had good traction!

These were the first gifts she'd opened. She caught on pretty quickly. We started a little tear and she would grab on and flap her arms until she had a big piece ripped. Then we started again until the package was opened. She was a little more interested in the paper than the gift, but that's understandable since she's still little. MOMMY loved her gift! She got piggy paint nail polish! A perfect gift from her Cosmologist Grandma! It's non-toxic and water based so perfect for Vivienne! We even painted her toes that night. I can't wait until summer so she can have fancy toes all the time! It was pretty darn cute :)

When all the cousins came, Vivienne had a blast. Between being passed around among the Aunties and playing with her three girl cousins under five, Vivi was on stimulus overload... and LOVED IT! She kept flapping her arms in glee and squealing.

What a fun first Christmas Eve!
