Beach Baby

Just before we left for CA, we got some really cute hand-me-down's for Vivienne. My favorite was a little sailor dress that was similar to one I wore as a child. I remember thinking how cute it would be to take photos of Viv on the beach for the very first time and I though it was a shame she wouldn't be able to sit up on her own in the photos. Well, Viv decided to learn to sit the night before we went to the beach! It's like she knew my dreams! She was so funny when she felt the ocean for the first time. She thought it looked really cool and loved staring at the waves. When the cold water actually hit her bare legs she flinched slightly, but she is such a water baby I think she loved it. It's been so fun to experience so many "firsts" with Viv on this trip! We sure love her!

 I think the cold splash kind of surprised her haha.
