Seersucker Twins
I love to sew. I made my first skirt when I was in high school and have been hooked ever since. I love making things and being crafty for so many reasons. For one thing, I get to create exactly what I want. This is fun for days like Saturday. I was going to be shooting a wedding in a small town four hours away with Stacey. I didn't really want to be apart from Viv all day long, especially since she can be hit or miss with taking a bottle. I figured that Brian and Viv could also come with since he would know several guys at the wedding. So that made Viv Brian's date for the wedding. I knew right away that I wanted to sew my first dress for Viv to commemorate her first Papi daughter dress-up date! Brian and I have loved seersucker fabric ever since he wore a seersucker suit for our wedding on 08.08.08 (Four years ago this week!). So I knew that I wanted to make Viv's first seersucker dress. They were seriously adorable as he walked around with his cutie daughter in his arms beaming with pride. He's a good sport with my "matchy" ideas and in his heart I think he secretly loves to match with his girls. I also made Vivie's plain grey hooded sweatshirt a little more girlie with some eyelet lace trim ruffle. She is so dang cute!
