Fairmont Triathlon

Vivie and I are so proud of Papi! He did his first triathlon last weekend. He actually only trained for like 2 weeks before the race. He's so intense! When he puts his mind to something, there is no stopping him... not even complete exhaustion. He ended up finishing the 1/4 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run in 1:23:06. He finished 4th in his age group. Vivie and I were able to go and watch. It was actually Vivienne's longest road trip so far because Fairmont is nearly 3 hrs away. Vivie loved slept the whole trip. And she also slept through most of the race. She did wake up for the important part, however... the finish! Now Brian is totally hooked! He is determined to beat his personal record by competing in at least 3 more triathlons this summer. Viv and I are excited to cheer him on!
