Happy Half Birthday, little girl! In true third child form... we missed it! haha. Apparently, she was 6 months old yesterday. Good thing she won't remember haha. We've had a bit of a crazy week with sickness and teething, but glad to say we finally seem to be on the mend.... unless Lulu catches it.
At 6 months, Edith:
- weighs 18.5 pounds. We had a doctors visit a few weeks ago, so I'm guessing she's at least 19 lbs now.
- LOVES her johnny jump up. She likes to watch her crazy sisters run around the house and then jumps in excitement when they pause near her to say hi and smother her with kisses and praise for jumping.
- sleeps 10-12 hours a night.
- has started eating solids! She tried avocado first and loved it. She cried between each bite because we weren't fast enough. She hated carrots next. Butternut squash and sweet potato were a huge hit. Mango was just meh.
- is a smiley baby and loves to coo.
- had her first pathetic cold. She snorted and coughed her way through it, but is on the mend now.
- has teething blisters where her bottom teeth are about to pop through.
- can't get enough of splashing in water. Bath time is a wet and cute experience.
- still isn't sitting. She just folds in half haha.
- rolls from back to front.
- is still a Daddy's girl and saves her biggest smiles for him!
We love you Edith Clementine and are thankful for another joy filled month with you!
