Thanksgiving 2012

This year we got to spend Thanksgiving week in California with almost my whole extended family. This has happened.... NEVER! It was really fun to introduce Vivienne to them all and be able to celebrate all together. It got a little crazy at times to have 10 adults and a baby under one roof, but that's family :)

It's fun to think back to last year. Thanksgiving day was the first time that Brian felt Vivienne kick in my tummy.  And now she's nearly crawling and is so sweet and silly! What a difference a year makes!

We watched the Thanksgiving day parade, had a yummy brunch, drank espresso from mom's espresso machine and played games. For some reason I didn't grab my camera until the sun had set and it was almost dinner time! Brian spent most of Thanksgiving day doing a 1000 piece puzzle with Aunt Vicki. Viv practiced her crawling. And we ate a scrumptious Thanksgiving meal!
Grammie made these adorable place cards. Viv got the cutest one! Inside there were verses from the Bible as our prayer of Thankfulness.
Vivienne couldn't wait to eat, so she started with the Owl :) It was so fun to be able to feed her some of the real people food from Thanksgiving. She had turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans and a little bit of rolls. She was a stuffed baby! She slept AWESOME that night!

Apparently I'll do anything for a photo... like give my baby the turkey leg haha
We ended the night and ushered in the Christmas season with a trivia game from one of our favorite Christmas movies: It's a Wonderful Life!
