SNOW DAY!
There are few things I love more than a major snowstorm! I love the silence and the fresh smell. I love the way the landscape changes right before my eyes. It's so clean and stirs my affections for Jesus. Other things that stir my affections for Jesus are the lights on my Christmas tree and a mug of coffee. All of which I enjoyed today! It's been a good day!
This is Vivienne's first snow! She's seen flurries here and there, but never seen a winter wonderland. We celebrated this momentous event by hanging out in our PJs all day (strangely, I think this is a first in her life!), eating all her favorite finger foods (cheese, bananas, blueberries and carrots), and hanging out by the window as long as possible so she could see the snow fall (and lick the cold glass). We also got all bundled up to see the snow up close! We don't have a waterproof outfit for Viv so she didn't really get to play in the snow. Maybe soon?
We've noticed that Vivi is quite the observer in new situations. She purses her lips and watches everything and everyone. Once she's comfortable, she smiles and laughs and chats! Her face in these photos is her "observing" face. She was quite enthralled by the white flakes falling from the sky and maybe a little unsure haha.
