Two little deers

Lord willing, baby Edith will be born this week! Normally, there are 24 hours in a day and 7 days a week. But when you are 39 weeks pregnant I think there are 2,400 hours a day and 700 days a week! We are trying anything to make the time go quickly. Today, that meant a picnic and photo shoot at the park just for fun. I realized halfway through that this is the last time I will do a photo shoot of just the two girls! Soon there will be three sisters! Can't wait!

Viv got the opportunity to try out a fun custom clothes website called The Patchery. It was so fun to pick the style, the fabrics and all the design! She actually did most of it herself and she chose a deer print dress because she loved seeing deer in Grammie's backyard. She calls it her Snow Lantern dress because that's what she named Grammie's deer haha. Today, Vivi got her dress in the mail, put it on right away, and I don't see it coming off in the foreseeable future haha. She says its the "softest, warmest, prettiest dress in the whole wide world" haha. Lulu was crushed that she didn't get one too haha. Glad I have two more girls to pass this cute dress down to! The whole custom design process is seriously fun and would make an awesome interactive Christmas gift!

I made the girls these deer headbands for fun while Papa was deer hunting a few weekends ago. They are obsessed! I have had a few people ask about purchasing their own floral deer headbands. I will be making a few more as Christmas gifts, so if you are interested in purchasing one for your sweetie, contact me at mindyr.johnson@gmail.com.
