I adore fall. The crisp air, the smells, the flavors. It's delightful! The only dampener is Halloween. I'm just not all that into it. I think it's fun to dress up, but the witches, spiders, blood & darkness of this "holiday" are absolutely not my cup of tea. But if there is something I do love, it's decorating for holidays. And what is more for to "decorate" than a cute little baby :) I made this Minnie Mouse dress for Viv when we went to Disneyland earlier this year. I purposefully made it extra big so that she could wear it for a while. Vivienne outgrew her Minnie hat from a couple months ago so I made her some new ears, put a little mascara on her nose, and voila! Vivi Mouse! Even though we didn't go trick or treating, I wanted to remember Viv's first Halloween costume... even if I made it for Disneyland and not Halloween. I took Viv down the street to a cute little flower shop that had Autumn-y decor out front. I took a few photos of Vivi Mouse with her Minnie Mouse when the shop owner came out ooing and awing over our sweet Viv. She gave Viv a mini pumpkin which she loved. Then Aunt Stacey came over while Brian was at church for sushi and a chick flick. All in all it was a good Halloween!
