This will likely make a few of you squirm (like Grandma Dina!). But our little one LOVES water! Bath water, pool water, fountains... she's a water baby! So we figured we'd begin to teach her how to hold her breath. Babies instinctively hold their breath when you blow in their face. So Brian would blow in Viv's face, she would hold her breath, and he would dunk her under water. We did this as one of the first things when we were swimming each day. Viv was such a trouper. While she didn't love it, she tolerated it and isn't really afraid of getting water on her face anymore!
Haha. Check out her "before" face! This isn't the first time we dunked her and I think she knew it was coming!
